Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before attending a Familiae workshop, using our records organising activity, or joining our Generations Membership. By booking or participating, you confirm that you have read and understood what is written here.

Important scope note: Familiae provides general educational workshops, organising activities, and peer community access only. Nothing offered constitutes professional advice, counselling, mediation, or any regulated service. All participants are encouraged to seek guidance from qualified professionals and appropriate official bodies for matters specific to their own situation.

1. About Familiae

2. Nature of Our Activities

Familiae offers three core activities:

Family Roots Conversation Workshop — a general skills workshop on sharing family stories and listening across generations. This is an educational session only, not counselling or personalised advice.
Family Tree & Records Organising — a guided administrative activity to help families assemble a records folder and illustrated family tree from documents they already hold. This is an organising service only.
Generations Membership — ongoing access to educational workshops, story-keeping templates, and a peer community. All content is educational and supportive; individual matters are referred to qualified professionals.

3. Bookings and Fees

Current activity fees are:

Family Roots Conversation Workshop — ฿3,500 per participant
Family Tree & Records Organising — ฿7,200 per household
Generations Membership — ฿11,800 per household per year

Fees are payable in advance. A booking is confirmed only once payment is received and you have received written confirmation from us. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that family schedules can change. Our approach to cancellations is as follows:

Cancellations made seven or more days before a scheduled session will receive a full credit toward a future activity.
Cancellations made fewer than seven days in advance will receive a credit of 50% of the session fee.
No-shows without prior notice are not eligible for credit.
Familiae reserves the right to reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, participants will be offered a full credit or an alternative date.

Membership fees are non-refundable after the first 14 days of the membership period, except where required by applicable law.

5. Participation

Our workshops are designed for adults (18 years and over) and for family groups where at least one adult participant is responsible for the group. By attending, you agree to:

Engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants at all times.
Understand that workshop content is general and educational, and does not constitute advice specific to your family's circumstances.
Seek appropriate professional support for any personal, legal, or health-related matters that arise.

Familiae reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful to others.

6. Intellectual Property

Workshop materials, templates, and written content provided by Familiae are for your personal educational use only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared commercially without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Familiae's activities are educational in nature. We do not make any representations about specific outcomes for your family. To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Familiae shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in our activities. Our total liability in connection with any activity shall not exceed the fee paid for that activity.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By booking or participating, you confirm that you have read and understood that policy.

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown at the top. Continued participation in our activities after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.
